Policy Outreach & Ecosystem Awareness

LEAD actively works to improve the outreach and accessibility of entrepreneurship-related government initiatives and opportunities. Under the Mission YUVA Scheme, which provided pre-seed grants of up to ₹6 lakh for innovative startup ideas, LEAD leveraged its network to spread awareness and mobilise participation across the region. Through focused outreach efforts, more than 50 registrations were facilitated on the official portal. Such initiatives aim to bridge the gap between policy support and grassroots entrepreneurial participation.

SUYOG – LJK Opportunity Summit

LEAD's sector-focused dialogue platform designed to unlock entrepreneurship and employment opportunities across Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir. Under this initiative, LEAD organised multiple thematic summits and engagements focused on sectors such as Manufacturing, Tourism, Agriculture, and Real Estate. These forums brought together entrepreneurs, policymakers, academicians, industry experts, and professionals to deliberate on growth opportunities, investment potential, and ecosystem gaps within different sectors.

InnoLEAD – Startup Masterclass

The event was conceptualised to strengthen the region's startup culture by equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with practical insights, exposure, and ecosystem access. The program brought together startup founders, CEOs, innovators, and professionals who shared critical learnings with young participants. The initiative aimed to empower youth with entrepreneurial thinking, connect them with networks and opportunities, and contribute toward building a more vibrant and supportive startup ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir.
